奥古斯塔大学 is proud to be a designated 学术卓越中心, specifically in the areas of Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) and Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). As part of the NCAE-C program, SCCS joins an elite network of academic institutions that meet rigorous standards for cybersecurity education, research and outreach. These designations are sponsored jointly by the National Security Agency (NSA) and several federal agencies such as:
Out of 463 NCAE institutions across the country, 417 hold a designation in cyber defense, but only 22 institutions have earned the cyber operations designation. SCCS not only joins this exclusive group but also becomes one of only two universities in Georgia to hold two NCAE designations.
The role of the 外部咨询委员会 is to provide input and guidance to the Center for Cybersecurity and the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences to achieve our center's mission of attracting top students to our school's academic programs and research initiatives.
